MECER 1200VA 720W 12V INVERTER

Description

The Mecer IVR-1200LBKS is a 1200 VA / 720 W inverter that runs off a single 12 V battery (sold separately). When the mains is on it charges the battery; when the power goes off it switches over and powers your equipment from the battery, which makes it a popular load-shedding solution for routers, TVs, decoders, lights and laptops.

Output in battery mode is a simulated sine wave, fine for most electronics but less suited to motors, pumps and some sensitive equipment. It accepts a wide 90 to 280 V input range and includes overload, short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. Note that this model is not compatible with lithium batteries; use a lead-acid or gel battery.
