Ugreen USB-A 2.0 to DB9 2M

Description

Plenty of equipment still talks over an RS-232 serial port: network switches and routers (console ports), PLCs, POS devices, barcode scanners, scales and older test gear. The UGREEN 20222 lets a modern PC or laptop without a serial port connect to them through a standard USB-A port.

It uses the Prolific PL2303 chipset, which is widely supported. Once the driver is installed the adapter appears as a COM port, so terminal programs and configuration software work as normal.
