Description

The Mecer BBONE-012S+ is a 1.2 kVA / 720 W inverter supplied in a metal housing with wheels, with space for a battery inside, so the whole backup system rolls neatly from room to room. The battery is not included; it takes a single 12 V 100 Ah battery.

It charges the battery while the mains is on and takes over during load shedding, keeping a TV, router, lights and laptops running. Output in battery mode is a simulated sine wave, and it accepts a 90 to 280 V input range with roughly 20 ms transfer time. It is a tidy alternative to a loose inverter and battery standing on the floor.
