Asus Prime X870-P

Description

The ASUS PRIME X870-P is expertly crafted to tap into the full potential of AMD’s next-generation Ryzen™ 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series processors. Built with stability, precision, and power efficiency in mind, this ATX motherboard features a robust 14+2+1 power stage design with 80A-rated MOSFETs, backed by an intelligent Digi+ VRM and advanced AI PC-ready architecture. ASUS AI Solutions—like AI Advisor, AI Cooling II, and AI Networking II—empower users to optimize system performance and cooling dynamically, all through intuitive software tailored for gamers and productivity users alike.

Designed with DDR5 performance in focus, the PRIME X870-P supports memory speeds up to 8000+ MT/s (OC) with AMD EXPO™ and ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) compatibility. Whether you’re running high-end gaming rigs or productivity-focused workstations, memory tuning is effortless thanks to a wide array of UEFI BIOS tools. Four onboard M.2 slots futureproof your storage setup—one PCIe 5.0 slot offering speeds up to 128Gbps, two PCIe 4.0 slots up to 64Gbps, and one PCIe 3.0 slot for additional expansion flexibility—ensuring fast system boot times and snappy application performance.

Stay thermally efficient even under heavy workloads, thanks to premium VRM heatsinks, passive chipset cooling, hybrid fan headers, and an AiO pump header—giving your system the airflow it needs to stay cool and stable. The multi-layer PCB layout and 8+8-pin solid-core CPU power connectors enhance durability and power efficiency, enabling higher overclocking headroom. ASUS’ integrated power-saving suite lets users fine-tune energy usage, dim RGB lighting, and optimize fan curves with a single click, reducing thermal footprint while maximizing long-term performance gains.

Equipped with the Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet, and dual USB4® ports, the PRIME X870-P redefines future-forward connectivity. Experience low-latency networking, plus enjoy high-speed data transfers at up to 40Gbps—perfect for external storage or dual 4K display output. DIY assembly is simplified with ASUS Q-Design innovations like Q-LED Core for troubleshooting and streamlined cable installation.
