Thanks to the USB OTG (On-The-Go) technology, the JetFlash 890 combines a regular USB 3.1 (Gen 1) connector and a USB Type-C connector into a USB flash drive, providing you greater portability to transfer precious photos, music, videos and any other digital files between tablets, smartphones, Mac computers, PCs and laptops.
It could be a real hassle trying to get the right side connected to the USB port, but this is no longer the case now. Featuring a reversible design, the JetFlash 890’s USB Type-C connector saves not only the efforts to try twice or three times before actually connecting to the USB port, but also your time on data transfer with one-time plug-in.
The standard USB interface allows you to easily transfer files to any regular USB port-equipped devices, including desktops, Ultrabooks, laptops, TVs, Blu-ray players, DVD players, stereos and games consoles. The cap is designed to fit in with both ends of the JetFlash 890. When one connector is occupied, you can cap on the other side of USB connector, making sure the cap is always on the JetFlash 890 to protect the USB connectors as well as the data.
